As a premium original content creator, we’re excited about 4K and the future of Ultra HD technology, particularly as we move into drama series next year. All of the pilots and series we produce next year will be shot in 4K. That includes our first ever drama series that we will greenlight next year—we think customers are going to love watching these series in the highest resolution ever available to consumers and we can’t wait to deliver it.“

Short description of the new series:

  • Transparent: Transparent is a darkly comedic story about an LA family with serious boundary issues. In this exploration of sex, memory, gender and legacy, the past and future unravel when a dramatic admission causes everyone’s secrets to spill out.
  • The Rebels (The Outlaws): The Outlaws is all about the ins and outs of a professional football team from the perspective of both the players and the back office.
  • Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, drugs and classical music illustrate what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what occurs on stage.
  • Bosch: A police procedural based on Michael Connelly’s novels about Harry Bosch (Welliver), a veteran police homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department.
  • The After: No information yet.
